A “by-invitation” advance screening of the new planetarium film, ICE WORLDS was held last June 20, 2009. The event was attended by over 100 guests from various exclusive schools such as La Salle Zobel, Las Salle Greenhills, Ateneo Grade School among others, press and media, corporate partners & sponsors, members of the Phil. Science Youth Science Clubs and some DOST and Deped officials.
Mr. Jose Lorenzo Tan, Pres. & CEO of World Wildlife Fund talked and shared to the guests how climate change affect the condition of the polar regions.
The event was presented by SMART, sponsored by Nestle Nido, Coke and BDO, and supported by Mrs. Field’s Cookie Café, Digipost, Yehey.com, WWF-Phils., A-Z Direct Marketing and Time Life Magazine.
Guests were treated with giveaways from SMART such as Notebooks, Jackets, Bags and Two (2) Mobile Phone Kits and back issues of Discovery Channel Magazines from A-Z Direct Marketing.
It allowed networking chances to key influencers of Science and Technology (i.e., PSYSC and DOST) as well as with the key decision makers of the academe and with the event sponsors and partners.
